The latest version of Primavera P6 (on-premise) is version 20.12 released publicly in December 2020. New versions of Primavera P6 on-premise are released in December each year.
I’m new to Planning Planet and Primavera 3. I had this same problem and was considering buying an old laptop with XP as couln’t see a way of running P3 on win 7 64bit. SureTrak installs ok in compatibility mode which is great, P3 doesn’t. There is a solution!! Win 7 has a Virtual Win XP software. Pastebin.com is the number one paste tool since 2002. Oracle purchased Primavera Systems in 2008 and has helped the software become a global standard in project controls.
As of mid-2019, Oracle has committed to releasing an update for on-premise users every year in December (version xx.12).
Major updates are numbered according to the year they were released. Minor updates are numbered according to the month they were released. EG: release 17.7 was released in July of 2017.
